For the first time in a generation, Mexican fans have the opportunity to watch their national team compete on home soil at the FIFA World Cup 2026™. Yet, many are set to be working during the matches.

The Football Association of the Czech Republic announced today (June 30, Korea Standard Time) that it has mutually agreed to terminate the contract with manager Koubek.

Koubek was hailed for turning around the ship, guiding Czechia past Heimir Hallgrimsson’s Ireland and then Denmark in two play-off matches and seal a place at the World Cup finals for the first time in 20 years.
